Anurag Kashyap is not Karan Johar and proved it once again when he made clear that he isn't going to change the title of his upcoming venture âBombay Velvetâ.
Says Anurag, âI wonât call it Mumbai Velvet. Bombay Velvet is set in a time when Raj Thackeray wasnât even born. Thereâs no logic to it. It was called Bombay then.â
âIf MNS becomes unreasonable, weâll resort to a legal recourse, â he further added.
Bombay Velvet will be part of Kashyapâs Mumbai trilogy.
âThe other two parts donât have titles yet, â says Anurag. âBut thereâs plenty of time. I donât see the Mumbai trilogy happening until the middle! of next year. My writer Gyan Prakash is a scholar from Patna. He has been researching intensely on the project for two years. See, the Mumbai trilogy is a big budget film.â
